Some good reviews online, currently massive discounts to be had. Has anyone experience of this amp and headphones? The Arcam SA30 is an integrated amplifier. At least, it’s described as an integrated amp. Like a few of these we’ve looked at over recent years, if Arcam had dispatched it to us as an all-in-one system, the long suffering Andy Bassett, who oversees the collation of products into our content management system, could have entered it as one without a single value being a problem. 01-abr-2019 - Arcam will be an audio brand most are familiar with.

The amplifier itself is a discrete and true linear Class A design. This means it’s not a ‘chip amp’, but a classic amplifier design and has absolutely no transistor crossover distortion. Theoretically, when playing a difficult headphone load at The rHead doesn't have a ton of power, but enough to drive most headphones sufficiently.

Byggd som en liten tank i ett kompakt och solitt aluminiumchassi, andas förstärkaren kvalitet samtidigt som man får ett kraftigt, neutralt och engagerande ljud till ens hörlurar. I currently have the rHead, using it with the E-MU Teaks. Did not have many headphones and amps in the past, most notably HD650 and Bottlehead crack. The rhead seems like a quality product, been using it for a few months. Can't really give a definitive answer if it's warm or not since i did not perform extensive tests. Auch der hier getestete Kopfhörerverstärker „rHead“ gehört zu der Serie, die sich nicht zuletzt durch ihre kompakten Gehäuse definiert.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Gliwice01 from Clear as a Bell Writing this review three weeks after purchasing the ARCAM rHead this amp does require some burn in time, first impressions were to return it. The treble sounded exaggerated as if played back through a badly adjusted equaliser.

Arcam rHead review conclusion. The Arcam rHead headphone amp is marvelous for the money. It’s a clean, articulate and neutral.

Und in der Tat fällt der Arcam rHead zuallererst durch seine für einen vollwertigen Kopfhörerverstärker recht kleinen Bauweise auf.

Using the rHead with a highly sensitive pair of 32 ohm headphones the noise is inaudible in an average room setting, and barely discernible as the faintest hiss in an isolated studio environment. Switching to something a little more difficult to drive, the Arcam impresses with an output level that belies its power output. Arcam rHead The audio business is a bit creepy: it suffers from mission creep and price creep. Brands start out with good intent and a fine product at a fair price, but then slowly begin to add more devices to the basic design, and the price begins to rise accordingly. The Arcam treads a more neutral yet lively middle path that is wholesome in terms of its content but never lacks life and vigour.
