Swedbank AB, which is based in Stockholm, on Monday issued euro-denominated covered bonds for a second time this year, offering €1.25bn ($1.4bn) of new notes backed by Swedish mortgages. Eika Boligkreditt AS has mandated DNB Markets, Nordea, SEB and Swedbank to explore the possibilities of a new 5 year floating rate NOK benchmark covered bond transaction. The transaction is expected to be launched in the near future, depending on market conditions.
